If you are applying for a new hydro and/or water service account, you can do this using our convenient online or you can download a PDF version of the form.

Note: The PDF form will need to be downloaded to your computer for the form features to function properly.

Residential Security Deposit Requirements

All new customers are required to pay a security deposit which is based on 2.5 times the average monthly bill at this address.  This deposit can be waived if you supply us with a credit reference letter from your current utility for the last 12 months, if you sign up to have pre-authorized payment from your bank account, or if you set up an Equal Monthly Payment Plan for your account.  

Approximately one (1) week after your take possession of the property you will receive a letter from us regarding deposits, payment options etc.  If you decide to have pre-authorized payments, on the back of the letter is a pre-authorized form to be completed and returned with a voided cheque or a direct deposit form from your bank. There is also an available if you prefer to submit digitally.

General Service < 50 kW Commercial Security Deposit Requirements
