Festival Hydro is encouraging customers to make the change to paperless billing in support of a new pilot program being led by the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance that will look to use the tools and technology familiar to youth to eliminate barriers to mental health treatment, while ensuring a smooth, seamless, “warm” transition between youth and adult mental health services. This strengthened approach looks to ensure that no one falls between the cracks.
In order to provide support in the way of funding for the “In Our Hands” campaign, Festival Hydro will donate $5 for each customer account that makes the change to paperless billing for the first time between August 1st and September 30th, 2021. Similar campaigns to benefit charitable and not-for-profit organizations have been run in the past and have received a high level of customer support.
“At Festival Hydro we are always seeking ways that we can positively contribute to the communities we serve by lending our support to the programs and services that are important and impactful. We are very happy to be able to contribute to the ‘In Our Hands’ Campaign and assist the HPHA in strengthening the services supporting youth mental health in our communities.” says Alyson Conrad, Chief Financial Officer of Festival Hydro Inc.
“Investing in virtual technology to increase access to care is a priority. One of the key programs that is and will continue to benefit from “virtual care” is Mental Health, where patients can proactively connect with their providers from home around care issues of importance. Growth in this area will significantly strengthen the supports we provide to people who require mental health supports to improve their quality of life”, says Andrew Williams, President & CEO, Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.
“We salute Festival Hydro and their customers as they embrace technology by “going paperless” while also supporting technology which will have an impact on the mental health of the youth in our region. We can never say thank you enough to all those who are passionate about ensuring our youth have access to the mental health supports they need”, says Andrea Page, Executive Director, Stratford General Hospital Foundation.
Festival Hydro customers can show their support and make the change to paperless billing through their MyFestivalHydro account at My.FestivalHydro.com. A detailed walkthrough of how to add paperless billing to your account through the Festival Hydro customer portal is available on the Festival Hydro website, or you may opt to call customer service at 519-271-4700. Once paperless billing has been applied to the customer account, an email will be sent to the email address that was provided at the time of sign up to notify the customer when a new bill is available in their customer portal. The online bill will look identical to the one that the customer would have previously received by mail.
